RESUMO
UNLABELLED: The present article describes the eye injuries observed in victims of the terrorist attack of 11 March in our hospital. Of the 325 injured individuals who arrived from the sites of explosion, 47 (15%) required specialized ophthalmologic care. Of these 41 were treated on 11 March and the 6 remaining patients were treated on subsequent days. In 5 patients emergency interventions were required. In 3 patients, interventions were delayed. RESULTS: anatomical loss in 1 patient and functional loss in 3 patients.

En el artículo describimos las lesiones oculares observadas en los pacientes atendidos en nuestro hospital como consecuencia del atentado terrorista que tuvo lugar el 11 de marzo en Madrid. De los 325 heridos que llegaron desde los diferentes lugares de los atentados, 47 (15%) requirieron atención oftalmológica especializada, 41 de ellos fueron atendidos el 11 de marzo y los 6 restantes en días posteriores. Se intervino de forma urgente a 5 pacientes y a 3 de forma diferida. En cuanto a los resultados, hubo una pérdida anatómica y 3 pérdidas funcionales (AU)
